Purpose-driven PR and comms consultancy Second Mountain has been named a finalist in two categories at the 2023 Creative Bath Awards.
The Wiltshire-based business, which specialises in working with charities, not-for-profits and philanthropic business leaders, is in the running for the 'Creativity for Good' category as well as 'Founder/Entrepreneur of the Year' for director Ben Veal.
This marks the third consecutive year that Second Mountain has been recognised at the Creative Bath Awards - and follows on from success in 2022, when the fledgling business won the award for 'Start up of the Year.'
Since then, Second Mountain has continued to grow its reputation not just locally, but also nationally and now internationally, now working with clients as far afield as Belgium, the USA and Australia.
Helping Good People Do Good
Last summer, the business took its 'helping good people do good' mission a step further with the launch of the Good Journeys with Second Mountain podcast; listened to in over 20 countries globally, the show's inspiring conversations have so far included guests such as Neurodiversity advocate and autistic author Pete Wharmby, mental health campaigner Kris Hall from The Burnt Chef Project, social mobility advocate Sarah Waddington CBE and sports entertainer Nick Aldis.
Chartered PR Practitioner and Second Mountain Comms' founder Ben Veal comments:
"Being recognised as a Creative Bath Awards finalist once was an honour, twice was a thrill, but three years in a row almost renders me speechless. I am so proud of the growth of Second Mountain so far, and am particularly proud of the strides made over the last twelve months to share the inspiring stories and purpose-driven journeys of others with the world."
The Creative Bath Awards take place in Bath in June 2023.
